      Removing background in the TransferRIP

      We recommend removing background of the artwork with your graphics software such as Photoshop or CorelDRAW, alternatively there are online tools such as remove.bg or Photoroom.

      If you don't have access to these you can use the TransferRIP buy following the steps below:-

      • In step 3 of the Transfer RIP: 

      • Click on the box next to remove colour and select the colour you would like to remove in the preview box
      • The change the tolerance to control how much of that colour you remove
      • This is quite sensitive, 7 is usually a good threshold to select

      This technique is not as clean and precise as if you were to use graphics software, but if you don't have access, this method should produce good results.
