Matte finishing paper VS protection paper

You must finish your transfers with the matte finishing paper for durability of your transfer.

One way to easily distinguish between the two papers is their size. The matte finishing paper is exactly A3 in size, while the protection paper is large enough to cover the bed of your heatpress.

If you accidentally finish your garment with the protection paper instead of the matte finishing paper, there is a high risk that your transfer will come off or wash out in the first few washes. However, if you use the matte finishing paper, you can achieve the industry standard of 40 washes. With proper care and following the recommended instructions, the transfer can often last even longer.
