FlexiPRINT can automatically apply the spot white to transparent PNG files within the RIP. Follow the steps below:-
- Load the PNG file into FlexiPRINT
- Open the 'Job Properties'
- Go to the 'Printer Options' tab
- Set 'White ink options' to 'Substrate'
- Go to the 'Transparency' tab
- Set 'Channel' to 'Spot_White'
- Set 'White option' to 'Use transparency mask'
- Check 'Use alpha channel data for white'
- You can check it has worked correctly by going to the 'Output Channel Preview' tab
- Check 'Preview output channels'
- Select only 'Spot_White'
