Using transparent PNG files with FlexiPRINT

FlexiPRINT can automatically apply the spot white to transparent PNG files within the RIP. Follow the steps below:-

• Load the PNG file into FlexiPRINT
• Open the 'Job Properties'
• Go to the 'Printer Options' tab
• Set 'White ink options' to 'Substrate'

• Go to the 'Transparency' tab
• Set 'Channel' to 'Spot_White'
• Set 'White option' to 'Use transparency mask'
• Check 'Use alpha channel data for white'

• You can check it has worked correctly by going to the 'Output Channel Preview' tab
• Check 'Preview output channels'
• Select only 'Spot_White'
