Overview of Roland TY-300 maintenance procedures

It's important that you follow the maintenance procedures as recommended to keep your printer running at optimum performance. This will help to ensure you are producing perfect prints and minimise any downtime.

DAILY START-UP MAINTENANCE

  • Check environmental conditions are correct
    • Temperature: 20°C - 28°C
    • Humidity: 40 -60% (no condensation)
  • White ink mixing
  • Start-up cleaning - cleaning around the print heads
  • Print a nozzle check pattern
  • Perform a head clean if any nozzles are missing

DAILY SHUTDOWN MAINTENANCE

  • Feeding the remaining film
  • Cleaning the media path
  • Cleaning the cutting carriage rollers
  • Power down the dryer
  • Daily shutdown cleaning - cleaning around the print heads

PERIODIC MAINTENANCE

  • Disposing of discharge fluid
  • Replacing the wiper
  • Replacing the print head caps
  • Replacing the wiper cleaner
  • Replacing the flushing sponge
  • Replacing the dryer filters
