Overview of Roland TY-300 maintenance procedures
It's important that you follow the maintenance procedures as recommended to keep your printer running at optimum performance. This will help to ensure you are producing perfect prints and minimise any downtime.
DAILY START-UP MAINTENANCE
- Check environmental conditions are correct
- Temperature: 20°C - 28°C
- Humidity: 40 -60% (no condensation)
- Pre-heat dryer before printing, approx. 30 minutes.
- White ink mixing
- Start-up cleaning - with head nozzle refresher
- Print a nozzle check pattern
- Perform a head clean if any nozzles are missing
DAILY SHUTDOWN MAINTENANCE
- Feeding the remaining film
- Daily shutdown cleaning - cleaning around the print heads
- Power down the dryer, leave it running for 30 minutes after printing
- Wipe clean the inside of the dryer
WEEKLY MAINTENANCE
- Cleaning the media path
- Cleaning the cutting carriage rollers
- Draining the residual oil from the filtration units
REPLACING FILTERS
- If using external filtration units, it is recommended to replace every 3 months.
- If using the internal filtration system, it is recommended to replace every 10 week.
PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
- Disposing of discharge fluid
- Replacing the wiper
- Replacing the print head caps
- Replacing the wiper cleaner
- Replacing the flushing sponge
- Replacing the dryer filters
