What could be causing my Roland dryer to occasionally not detect the signal from the DTF Film?
Suggested steps to follow if your dryer sensor fails to detect the DTF film.
This issue may occur when the sensor is not properly calibrated. Although it generally operates effectively, there are occasions when the film may shift outside of the sensor's detection range, causing it to stop feeding through the dryer.
Recommended action:
If adjusting the sensor as described in the manual does not resolve the problem, you can modify its sensitivity. Find the small brass screw located on the back of the sensor, as illustrated in the manual. Turning this screw clockwise will extend the sensor's detection range by approximately 5 inches, which should help rectify the issue.
