EMT16X Daily Maintenance

Embroidery machines require daily maintenance to ensure smooth and reliable operation.

Daily maintenance includes oiling the rotary hook, checking your software for maintenance prompts, and removing any lint build-up.

Please follow the steps below to complete the daily maintenance:

Frequency:

Perform these steps daily before beginning operation, and periodically throughout the day as needed. We recommend oiling the rotary hook periodically, 2-3 times a day.

Process:

- Remove the bobbin case.

- Clean lint from under the bobbin case spring.

- Clean the trimmer area with compressed air.

- Apply one drop of oil to the hook oiling area.

- Reinsert the bobbin.

- Confirm completion in the software, if prompted.

Cleaning:

Use compressed air to remove lint and dust from the hook and trimmer area. For better access, you may need to remove the needle plate or hook guard.

Tools:

Use your operator's kit for oiling and cleaning. Purchase a can of compressed air or a compressor.

General Tips:

Check Software Prompts: It is good practice to regularly check your software for maintenance prompts, as the machine will often indicate when maintenance is due.

Preventative Care: Consistent daily maintenance helps prevent major issues, reduces thread breaks, and ensures smooth overall operation.
