How to print a nozzle check on the F2200
This article explains how to print a nozzle check pattern on the SC-F2200. This should be completed before printing to ensure optimum print quality.
Follow the steps below to print a nozzle check pattern:
- Place a piece of transparent paper onto the centre of the platen. You may need to secure it into position with tape.
- Alternatively, it can be printed directly onto the platen if you are not using the grip pad.
- Ensure that the platen is set to level P
- On the printer control panel, press the 'Menu' button
- Select 'Maintenance'
- Select 'Print Head Nozzle Check'
- Press 'Start'
If the nozzle check pattern is complete, continue to printing. If there are any gaps, perform a head clean to recover the missing nozzles.
