How to map a custom spot colour in VersaWorks
This will allow you to setup a custom spot colour for printing the speciality colours
Follow the steps below to edit the 'Spot Color Settings' to allow you to use your own spot colour to determine where the speciality colours will be printed in the artwork.
- Open VersaWorks
- Select 'Edit' > 'Spot Color Settings'
- Click the 'Create New Library' button
- Enter a 'Library Name'
- Check 'Alias of Special Inks'
- Press 'OK'
- Ensure the new library is selected and click 'Create New Spot Color' button
- Enter the 'Color Name'
Note: this should be set the same as the custom spot colour that is being used in the graphics software - Ensure 'Special Ink' is set to 'RDG_WHITE'
- Click 'OK'
