      Error when loading OS: 'This app has been blocked for your protection'

      The instructions below detail a change in the Windows registry and should only be completed by someone who is competent to do so

      If you see the following message, when loading Amaya OS or Melco OS:

      Follow the steps below to disable the Windows User Account Control so that you can load the software:

      • In the search bar on your computer, type in 'Regedit'
      • From Registry Editor, click 'Run as administrator'

      • Copt the following address into the address bar: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System  

      • Double click on 'EnableLUA'
      • Change the 'Value data' to '0'
      • Click 'OK'
      • Then restart your computer

      • Once the computer has restarted you should be able to load the software correctly.
      • Once the software has rebooted you may need to select the correct adapter again from 'Tools' > 'Options'
