A complete overview of the G6000 & Adkins Compact Dryer maintenance procedures
It's important that you follow the maintenance procedures as recommended to keep your printer running at optimum performance. This will help to ensure you are producing perfect prints and minimise any downtime.
Please leave the printer powered on all of the time so that the automated maintenance features can function.
DAILY START-UP MAINTENANCE
- Confirm environment conditions are good to print

Agitate the white ink pouches
- Print a nozzle check pattern
- Perform a head clean if any nozzles are missing
- Pre-heat the dryer for 30 minutes prior to use
DAILY SHUTDOWN MAINTENANCE
- Allow the dryer to run for 30 minutes after use
- Wipe down any residual oil within the dryers
WEEKLY MAINTENANCE
- Cleaning around the print head
- Cleaning the suction cap
PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
- Replacing the ink pouches
- Emptying the waste ink
- Replacing the head cleaning set
- Replacing the auto cutter blade
- Replace the Adkins filters every 400 hours or as needed
